All limestone in this auction has been quarried, cut and shipped from the Vetter Stone Quarry located in the Kasota-Mankato Stone District. These Minnesota stones are dense, durable dolomites available in earth colors of BUFFS, CREAMS, TANS, PINKS AND GRAYS.
We are selling full slabs of limestone that are about 20-55 SF. In each lot we list the color family and the approximate size of each slab. A 25 sf SLAB WILL WEIGH ABOUT 750 POUNDS at 30 pounds a square foot.
The experienced material handlers at Granite-Tops will safely load your limestone slabs on to your vehicle. You will need a flat bed truck to pick up the merchandise and it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU USE AN "A" FRAME TO TRANSPORT YOUR PRODUCT because stone SHOULD be transported vertically. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
You will be responsible for securing your own load and arranging your own transportation.
WE HAVE TAKEN A REPRESENTATIVE PHOTO OF EACH COLOR. A boulder of limestone is cut into slabs like a loaf of bread. Each slab in the boulder gets a number: 1st cut might be 101, next cut is 102, next cut is 103 etc. so the serial number in each lot contains the boulder number, then the cut number and then the size. Most slabs of the same color are in numerical order, cut from the same boulder. This would kind of be like a pattern match in fabric.

Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the independent auction company managing the auction.
