We are rolling out two major features designed to make sure you never miss an opportunity.

1. Outbid Text Notifications

You asked for faster notifications. We listened.

You can now opt in to receive outbid notifications by SMS in addition to email. When enabled, you will receive a text message if someone places a higher bid on your item.

This follows the same rules as our current email notifications:

• Texts are sent when you are outbid during active bidding.
• Notifications stop once the auction begins closing.
• You remain in control and can opt in or out anytime from your account page.

Why this matters:

• Faster awareness when you are outbid
• More time to respond before the auction closes
• Fewer missed items due to delayed email checks

To enable SMS notifications:

1. Log in to your bidder account
2. Go to your Account Settings
3. Opt in to Outbid SMS Notifications

2. Never Miss Another Item with Lot Alerts

Lot Alerts allow you to save custom searches and receive a daily email when new items are listed that match what you are looking for.

If you regularly search for tools, vehicles, restaurant equipment, coins, retail returns, or anything else, this feature is for you.

How Lot Alerts Work

1. Log in to your bidder account
2. Go to your Bidder Dashboard
3. Navigate to the Lot Alerts section
4. Create and save a search using your preferred criteria
5. Toggle the Notify option to turn email alerts on

Once enabled:

• You will receive one email per day if new items are listed that match your saved searches.
• You can create alerts for up to 10 different searches.
• Each email includes direct links to matching items so you can view and bid quickly.

What to Expect in the Email

If new inventory is listed that matches your saved searches, you will receive a Lot Alert email each morning. Each email includes direct links to the matching items so you can view them and place bids quickly.

Saving Alerts from Search Results

Any time you run an advanced search, you can save that search and turn on notifications using the toggle button. This allows you to build alerts based on categories, keywords, location, price range, and more.

Lot Alerts help you find the items you want faster and make sure you never miss new listings.
