We are excited to announce some recent changes and software improvements on K-BID.com. First and foremost, K-BID has introduced a new buyer’s premium (BP) structure that includes a 60% decrease in the maximum BP amount charged to buyers. BP is collected on every item sold on K-BID.com and is charged on the following schedule:

The per item BP cap has been reduced from $2,500 to $1,000 per item! This major price decrease allows sellers to utilize our affiliate network to efficiently sell higher value assets such as collector cars, farm equipment, construction equipment and more. Buyers can bid with confidence knowing that there will be a capped amount of BP added to their invoice. We are confident that this BP structure will allow K-BID.com to remain competitive and the premier online auction venue in the Upper Midwest!

Secondly, online payments are here! Bidders now have the option to pay online for most auction invoices. It’s quick and easy to do!

For eligible invoices, a payment prompt will be available on the invoices section of your dashboard. There are some things you will want to keep in mind for online payments:

• Shipping charges are not automatically included in the invoice amount. If you require shipping, please contact the affiliate managing the auction for instructions or to have shipping charges added to your invoice.
• Online payments are an alternative to paying at the auction location and should expedite the removal process. Winning bidders are responsible for adhering to the terms of the auction and removal dates.
• Payments are directed to the affiliate managing the auction. Please contact the number on your invoice for questions on the invoice amount, removal instructions or shipping.
