Best known for luminescent seascape painting on linen and canvas, Edward Barton was entirely self-taught as an artist.  He was born on June 24, 1926 in New York, and died in 2012 at the age of 85. His work can now be found in private and corporate collections worldwide.

Barton didn't just stick to painting seacapes, however. He also painted street scenes, landscapes and, as we see here, nudes. A mosaic of color and texture, the details only fully reveal themselves when viewed up close. There's something new to see at every angle, be it a shadow that moves with the changing light of day, or a detail that comes and goes as you shift your focus.

This piece measures approximately 21" wide x 35" tall

Robert Cox was an American painter known for his restful floral still life paintings. He moved to California as an adult, and it was there that he received much of his inspiration for his paintings. He was one of the most prolific painters of the 70s and 80s, often selling his paintings for little money because of his belief that art should be available and accessible to all.

This particular piece features a lush bouquet of pale yellow and apricot colored flowers spilling over the sides of a golden vase. It is signed by the artist in the lower lefthand corner.

Frame measurements: 18" wide x 24" tall

Gorgeous hand poured hydrostone plaster memory block by Canadian artist Sid Dickens. This particular design, "Red Hearts with Script," is retired and no longer being produced. Looks beautiful on its own, or as part of a larger gallery wall display.

Per the artist's website: Innovative finishes are achieved by his own process of working through experimentation with an unusual combination of materials and techniques. For some of the designs he has literally invented his own  glazing formulas - structured to emphasize and challenge specific attributes of plaster and to respond to each piece's unique architectural volume.

Gorgeous Sid dickens memory block entitled "Fabled Bird." This piece is part of his Orient Express collection.

Per the artist's website, "A peacock spreads its iridescent feathers to welcome new life; the pattern of his plumage represents a thousand eyes.   This is echoed in the vision of one opened, enlightened eye.Distant travels are hinted at with references to antiquated currency and symbols from the Taj Mahal and its surroundings. Spring flowers abound with the promise of new beginnings.  Pink petals gather at the base of ancient trees in a hidden, gated garden – the juxtaposition of the old and the new. There’s a reminder here to be playful when laying all your cards on the table, whether the target of the game is love or perhaps something more light-hearted."
