Bob's Midwest Transmission, in it's prime, was known as the go to shop in the upper midwest for parts or service on a transmission. In 2022 Bob "retired" and moved his business to his personal property with the goal of continuing service as something to do. Along with the tools, thousands of transmissions and parts were moved as well. Now Bob is planning to sell the property in the spring and his whole collection needs to go. It is impossible to quantify just how many transmissions and parts are on the property. A large percentage of the transmissions were stored inside the shop building, most of the rest were stored outside, but covered with tarps or tin to try to protect from the elements. The pallets and pallets of parts were mostly stored inside of shipping containers, or again covered with tarps and tin to try to protect.
This is a winner take all auction. In an attempt to make the logistics of the sale and the pick up of the items possible we are trying to find a single bidder to buy everything. If we do not find a buyer with this method we plan to have multiple auctions, selling items in smaller lots. This is a great opportunity for a shop or reseller to purchase a broad range of parts for pennies on the dollar. Payment for this auction will be by cashier's check (verifed with the bank it is drawn upon) or wire transfer only. Payment will need to be received within 3 days of auction close, items purchased will need to be removed from the property within 2 weeks of auction close.

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.

All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.

Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the independent auction company managing the auction.
No shipping available, but seller may be able to accomodate shipping via a service or courier arranged by the buyer. Please contact before bidding to verify you plan will work for the seller.
